Engine Shutdown Alarm(PLA-12/SD)

PLA 12 S/D is a Programmable Automatic Engine Shutdown & Alarm unit, specifically configured for small and medium type engine alarm and shut down control panel in a single unit.
Channel 1 to 4 configured as group for Safety cut out with additional relay with built in timer.
Shut Down (Safety Cut Out)
Automatic stopping the generator at too low lup oil, high cooling water temp or at over speed. The set point of the sensors should be in accordance with the equipment manufacturer. In case of Automatic Shut Down, out put for shut down signal will activate for 60 sec. This will ensure that engine will stop completely. Reset switch has got no effect on this timer to ensure complete stop of the engine.
Signal Suppression At Low Engine Rpm
Terminal 1 is to be connected for too low lup oil pressure cut out and terminal 5 to be connected to low lup oil pressure alarm. both this signals can be suppressed at low engine speed through terminals 13. This blockage is provided to allow manual starting /stopping of engine with out nuisance of alarm signals. This is because when engine is not running or at low rpm, lup oil pressure may not developed above trip level.(With out this function one has to bypass this signal to start the engine)
Other alarms functions are same as basic model. Set point of the sensors ( pressure switch, temperature switch, speed relay ) etc to be in set in the sensor unit as per engine manufacturer specifications.
